Every now and again I need to be reminded that I am not living a life of a hamster and my life DOES NOT REVOLVE around a Ferris wheel. I NEED to be inspired and motivated. The mundane routine drives me insane so I’m constantly looking for ways to motivate myself even if it means a quick look on Instagram or searching for motivational quotes. I need something quick and accessible. Everyone needs to keep their spirits high so reminding yourself of your goals is a perfect way to self-motivate.
I watch and read motivational stories, speeches because it helps me stay motivated and I wanted to show you who I turn too to get my dose of inspiration.
Being motivated is a psychological process that reinforces you to take action in order to accomplish your desired goals or objectives. Most of us live by goals no matter how big or small, I guess it’s easier to set goals but to stay motivated to achieve those goals well that’s a different story.
I follow various other blogs to help me keep motivated and love to read them when I get a minute, so I thought why not share this with you and let you learn what I do from these creators. I only wanted to mention two specific websites I go to when I need some motivation there are so many websites out there but I found that these two websites cater for those who are serious about self-help and self-developing.
Tiny Buddha is an amazing blog it focuses heavily on living a happy, peaceful and confident life. I love the quotes. It provides you with a great source of information and self-help guide.
“Is able who thinks he is able”
The Everyday Power Blog is all about being able to become the best version of yourself, the blog gives you both the tools and inspiration you need to get started. I love reading about self-improvement. There is an amazing post on How to take responsibility for your mistakes without beating yourself up. Something I know too well about.
Now for the best part, if you hate reading then there are YouTube videos that you will defiantly learn from. I have put a list of the best motivational speakers that have truly inspired me. These are the people you need to be following, listening to and watching on YouTube. They have transformed my way of thinking.
So if you want someone who can provide you with a short burst of quick inspiration then Prince Ea is the one you need to go to.
1. Prince EA
Richard Williams, aka Prince Ea, is an influencer he is a pretty cool guy. His videos are short sweet and to the point you get the message learn and move on. His video varies from work life and balances to relationships and mindfulness.
The most famous Mr Tony Robins has an incredible wealth of knowledge this man has about relationships, commitment, mindfulness and positivity. I only watched one video and I was hooked.
“One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.”
Mufti Menk is for those who are a little more into their faith, he will not be for everyone but Mufti Menk is a Muslim cleric and the only cleric I follow because he is so light-hearted and relatable. He understands today’s pressures and guides on a journey to stay motivated.
4. Muniba Mazari
I realise that most of the motivational speakers are men but I came across this one woman. A courageous woman, a full-time mother, much-admired artist and a physically challenged activist, Despite being a paraplegic, her work is all about hope, encouragement and bringing change. She is truly a symbol of strength and courage.
I wonder what blogs you read and who you watch on YouTube that help motivate you. I would love for you to share this post with anyone that you think will benefit from being motivated and just needs that spark of inspiration.
