How to Spring Proof Your Wardrobe

This is the time to update your wardrobe to make room for spring, inject some colour and exchange your warm uggs for some suede ankle boots

I started by spring proof my wardrobe by changing my tights, sounds really stupid but wearing light denier tights makes a change to your outfit. I paired it up with my favorite dress from Zara the black frill dress.

I threw on a cute little blazer to break up the color, otherwise I could have easily have looked as if I was attending a funeral.  We’ve had some really beautiful warm sunshine but for the most part its been quite mild. While it doesn’t feel like we have left the winter months behind I am ready to transmission in to spring. I don’t know about you but this winter dragged on to long,  so I have taken every opportunity to start transitioning to spring. There are ways to switch your style over without losing all the warmth in your daily style.

So if you’re ready to brighten up your style then scroll down and see how to.

If you don’t want to dive straight in just add accessories like belts and bags. I decided to throw over a really light cream/white blazer. Even if the sun is not shinning your outfit sure will.

If you like me and you want to dive right into the spring mood. Then pick out mustard’s and yellows, it sure screams spring. Don’t worry what your skin tone is these colors are so refreshing and complimentary to all skin tones.

You don’t need to go on a shopping spree all you need is to refresh your wardrobe with key pieces that work through spring and summer.

And of course—be sure to dress in layers! have a wonderful spring and I will see you in the again for another summer blog post.

The Emily shirt is designed of soft cotton it’s guarantee comfort and elegance, I haven’t seen a shirt with cold-shoulder flared sleeves that elevates an outfit like this does. The farrah ankle boots just finish of the outfit. I always pick out shoes that are versatile with my outfits, so your able to wear them with dresses, jeans and the way I have with this Louise skirt.

I brightened up my wardrobe with this lavish Carina Twitchchill Dress. The ochre colour sets perfectly with the navy polka dots. The fitted waist always sells it for me. The high neck line and flared profile of this dress, works so well for work.  It’s just such a gorgeous and flattering fit.

The tailoring is so on point and the material is perfect for spring. I definitely made an entrance when I walked into work wearing this last week.
